Roman Miroshnichenko Receives Independent Music Award Nomination again!!! This time - World Beat The Best Album category for his "Temptation" CD release!!! Judges includingTom Waits and Kathleen Brennan, Suzanne Vega, Aimee Mann, Pete Wentz, Bettye LaVette, Seal, Adam Duritz, Ozzy Osbourne, Arturo Sandoval, Martin Atkins, to name a few. After many months of anticipation on 16 February were announced the Nominees for The 10th Annual Independent Music Awards. Independent artists from 5 continents and more than 75 countries submitted their best work to The 10th IMAs - and it was no easy task for the IMA Nominating panel to winnow it down to the nearly 300 artists included in this year’s honors and Roman Miroshnichemko's album Temptation as well!

The Animation film "Tides To and From" by Ivan Maximov, soundtrack by Sambateria and Roman Miroshnichenko - is a participant of the Generation Kplus Programme at the 61st Berlinale Film Festival Competition! This film was inspired by, and developed upon the soundtrack - "Canto De Pilon", a composition recorded by the band "Sambateria" featuring the guitar solo of Roman and the song's main melody. In October 2011 this film has won a special prize at XVIII International Festival Competition of animation films "Krok".
